Ethos, Pathos, & Logos

PATHOS
This advertisement extreme pathos. It shows that these sad, lonely, starving, tortured, and destroyed dogs need your help. It's explaining that they need your help, and your trust. Dog shelters and homes show great concern about the well-being of these dogs. Imagine the pain of these innocent animals.



ETHOS
This advertisement shows off ethos. Rajon Rondo, being one of the NBA's greatest point guards, is advertising Nike. Many people want to be him, or close to him. So since Rajon Rondo is advertising it, the Nike product is gaining the trust of viewers, and showing that this product is worth it. Seeing this myself wanted me to get Nike, due to the fact that a loved athlete is promoting it.
LOGOS
This advertisement shows the effect of logos. Being logos, it focuses on the data that every glass of  Mott's Apple Juice has two servings of real fruit juice. It's saying that logistics believe that this drink would be healthier, and more beneficial for people. It's using statistics to say it's healthy for everybody.
